Dana White has previously made some harsh remarks about Aljamain Sterling, but the UFC president's most recent remarks have left the bantamweight champion perplexed and unhappy.

White has previously expressed his displeasure with Sterling and #1-ranked bantamweight Merab Dvalishili's refusal to fight each other, and "Funk Master" seeks an explanation from the UFC President's most recent remarks on the O'Malley fight.

In the main event of UFC 288, "Funk Master" recently successfully defended his bantamweight title for a UFC record third time against Henry Cejudo.

His winning streak has spanned nine fights, during which he has also successfully defended his championship against former champions Petr Yan and T.J. Dillashaw.

After Sterling and Sean O'Malley sparred in the cage at UFC 288, the UFC moved swiftly to schedule their rematch. However, the 33-year-old recently angered the UFC President by joking that the bout with "Sugar" might be postponed.

“So my thing with Dana is – damn dog, why can’t you just give credit where credit is due? Even if you feel I can’t get out of my own way – which, there’s no context behind that, because literally everything you’ve asked me to do I’ve done it. So make it make sense, what does that even mean Dana? I don’t know.

I’m pretty sure he couldn’t give you a straight answer what that actually means…In terms of the company I did everything that you want, so where am I not getting out of my own way? I’m here for violence!.”
