There are growing rumours that the former double world champion Conor McGegror may have fought his last professional fight already.
One of the people behind the news is former professional UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway, who believes the Irishman has few incentives to ever step foot in the ring again.
McGregor’s last fought in July 2021, when he suffered his second consecutive defeat to Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 264. Because of a broken ankle he was unable to continue fighting.
Whilst the Irish fighter came back from retirement once already and hasn’t actually said that he is not planning to come back, social media shows that he is spending a lot of time on his Whiskey brand and new pub The Black Forge Inn in Ireland.
Of course, he may still be recovering and he did recently shared a video of himself kicking a bag so we shouldn’t write him off quite yet.
To our readers on Warrior Code: what do you think Conor McGegror's plans are? Will we see him back in the octagon or only hear from him on social media?
