Since 1984, the kickboxing club Maeng-Ho has been a well-known name in Breda. Our sports club is open to anyone who wants to learn the finer points of kickboxing, compete in contests, or just work on their fitness. The atmosphere at our gym is friendly, but we train hard. Everyone is challenged at their own level to get the best out of themselves. There are different types of lessons: a mixed group, a group for children, and a special women-only ladies group.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gracie Jiu-Jitsu) is a practice-adapted version of traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Because the techniques are not based on strength and speed, it is possible to defend yourself against a stronger and larger person. This makes it a very suitable system of self-defense for both men, women and children. In addition, you will improve your fitness level in a fun way and increase your self-confidence. Our focus is on self-defense first, but it is also possible to participate in competitions.

IMPACT FIT is a combined gym and therapy practice located near the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. A place with personal attention for both body and mind through sports and care. Boxing bag training, kickboxing, MMA, grappling, BJJ and personal training, either alone or combined with therapy.

Let everyone enjoy sports!’; this was our driving force when we founded Jayra Sport in 2005. Three things are very important to us: knowledge of the subject, continuous quality, and respect for each other. Jayra Sport is the specialist in recreational Judo, Karate, Krav Maga, Boxing, and Kickboxing! We offer these lessons in Rotterdam Kralingen for both children and adults in a recreational setting. Children can come to us from the age of 3! Sports is our passion and we enjoy sharing our knowledge about it. We strive to ensure that everyone enjoys sports with us, continues to do sports, and develops.

The name Lawa's Gym comes from owner Matthieu Lawalata's last name. LAWA at the same time at our gym stands for Learn, Absorb, Work, Achieve. Learning together from and with each other (Learn), absorbing it into yourself so that it really becomes something of your own (Absorb), working with it and working hard (Work) and achieving your goals, whatever they may be, together (Achieve). All this in a safe and fun learning environment where Respect, Discipline and Perseverance are the pillars in our lessons. The warrior in the logo is derived from the Moluccan roots of owner Matthieu Lawalata and symbolizes a Moluccan warrior. The warrior of course also applies to the Martial Arts/Self Defense in which we teach. Fighting is in the broadest sense of the word. Fighting for more confidence, fighting to feel fitter or fighting to make yourself more resilient and stand up for yourself, fighting during competitions etc. Together we fight to achieve your goals, whatever they may be.
