Let everyone enjoy sports!’; this was our driving force when we founded Jayra Sport in 2005. Three things are very important to us: knowledge of the subject, continuous quality, and respect for each other. Jayra Sport is the specialist in recreational Judo, Karate, Krav Maga, Boxing, and Kickboxing! We offer these lessons in Rotterdam Kralingen for both children and adults in a recreational setting. Children can come to us from the age of 3! Sports is our passion and we enjoy sharing our knowledge about it. We strive to ensure that everyone enjoys sports with us, continues to do sports, and develops.

Additionally, there is the option to hire a team, trained and consisting of trainers from Pendekar, for demonstrations. With years of experience, the trainers guarantee a high quality of lessons. This is particularly evident from the long list of A-class champions trained by Pendekar Rotterdam. These champions hold various national and international titles. Pendekar focuses on recreational athletes, but competition-level training is also offered. The emphasis is therefore not so much on competitions, which are primarily about performance, but rather on the personal development and training of the youth, recreational, and senior teams.

My name is Babak, coach and the owner of the gym.. I have 34 years of experience as a martial artist/instructor and I am specialized in Defensive Tactics. Additionally, I provide lifestyle coaching, personal training and nutrition, bootcamp, functional training and personal safety. The style of Pencak Silat practiced within ASV ADVENDO as a self-defense art is the Pukulan Betawi. Its basic technique comes from the Sundal lands of West Java, expanded with some good techniques from various Japanese and Chinese martial arts. The Pencak Silat Pukulan Betawi originated in the former Batavia or Betawi, called Jakarta since Indonesian independence. As far as is known, Pukulan Betawi was composed and perfected by Dutch residents living in the Kwitang neighborhood of the former Batavia and born there. These former East Indians often spoke the various regional languages and were so familiar with Indonesian mores and customs that it was not difficult for them to adapt and give direction to Pukulan Betawi. Thus, before W.O.2, the Pencak Silat Pukulan Betawi emerged among practitioners of defensive arts in the Indonesian Archipelago.
