Social impact
During the Hague Martial Arts Day, the focus is on connecting social issues with martial arts. In the run-up to the event, the Hague Martial Arts Collective, in cooperation with the prevention project 'Do Den Haag', organizes several workshops. These activities focus on prevention, participation and care, with special attention to seniors, people with disabilities, and anyone who wants to move more. Martial arts is used here as a powerful tool, such as boxing for people with Parkinson's disease, thus making a positive contribution to health and well-being in The Hague.
