Eagle Gym, een echt familiebedrijf, bestaat al sinds 2012 en heeft een oppervlakte van 514m2 waar verschillende vechtsporten beoefend worden. Onze sportschool heeft dus genoeg ruimte voor beginners en gevorderden, recreanten en wedstrijdsporters, jong en oud. Met allemaal hetzelfde doel: Fanatiek sporten op zijn of haar niveau in een prettige en veilige omgeving met veel respect voor elkaar! Al onze groepslessen worden onder professionele begeleiding gegeven door gediplomeerde trainers. Het belangrijkste is natuurlijk sporten, maar ook gezelligheid staat hoog bij ons in het vaandel. At BJJ Haarlem, we offer a friendly and safe environment to develop your skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). BJJ focuses on ground fighting, where you learn to apply holds, locks, and chokes to defend yourself.

Cardozo Swordsport is the Sports Academy for Historical Fencing and Martial Arts founded by Mishaël Lopes Cardozo and part of AMEK, www.amek.org. Here we study and practice the medieval martial arts of Europe based on historical sources. The different disicplines are Longsword, Dussack, Messer, Dagger and Polearms. In addition to technique and condition training, you also have the opportunity to focus on tournaments. Biography Mishaël Abia Lopes Cardozo (born 1972) is a HEMAist, actor, writer, musician and an artist. He is founder and director of AMEK. (HEMA, EVENTS & FILM). Mishaël is considered one of the leading authorities on historical fencing in the world. He teaches in more than 20 countries and introduced HEMA to the Netherlands and founded AMEK in 2002. In 2008, Mishaël was knighted in the Netherlands for his contribution to the reconstruction of historical martial arts heritage in the low countries. In 2010 he initiated the establishment of the HEFFAC a low countries Coalition consisting of HEMA clubs from the Netherlands and Belgium, leading to the first official HEMA Union. He was inducted into the Dutch Hall of Fame for Martial Arts in 2014. Mishaël is also a respected tournament fighter and won many gold medals at international tournaments in his career. He is the trainer and coach behind many big names in the Dutch HEMA world. He is also directly or indirectly the force behind the establishment of some other big clubs in the Netherlands. Besides HEMA, Mishaël does motion capture for computer games and organizes workshops for corporate events. As an actor, he starred in Richard the Lionheart (Lionsgate), the mega-series Game of Thrones (HBO) and the role of King Hakon in the legendary series Vikings VI, among others (History Channel). To this day, Mishael seeks to promote and raise awareness of the Historical Martial Arts. His goal is still the same as it was 20 years ago, which is to bring back European martial arts to their full glory, both as an art form and as a martial art.
