Do you want to train like a boxer, push your limits and get fit in a fun way? Come and train at Allround Gym. With us, you challenge yourself to become stronger and fitter. Boxing is not the goal for us, but the means to achieve your own sporting goals and to feel fitter and stronger. You don't exercise alone at Allround Gym, but together with others. Because exercising together is fun and motivating. That's why we think that club feeling is very important. With us, you exercise in a friendly and safe environment. That is a must for your performance and progress. And only if you enjoy exercising, you will get the best out of yourself and you will keep coming back to train. We can imagine that you have to overcome a threshold when you come to train for the first time. That's why we have buddies at Allround Gym. They are our permanent members who can show you the ropes during your first training sessions at Allround Gym. Feel free to approach them.

Boxing

Our dojo is relatively small in number with both men and women, but we are growing slowly. The core trains regularly and with great dedication and attention. This makes the training more personal. The learning curve is also higher because you get much more attention from the teacher present. The atmosphere is friendly without it being at the expense of attention and focus during the lessons. Everyone is given the space to develop at their own pace. This is also closely monitored by the teacher and the students. In addition, you can work more specifically towards an exam with a smaller group. The path (do) and progression that you take in this is more important than the final result. Everyone has their own goal in this too. And then it is not about the urge to perform, but more about the potential that someone has. One wants to become more flexible and the other a bit more firm. The trick is to investigate both facets so that they can exist side by side. So investigate what makes you too flexible or too firm.

Aikido

Aikido (合気道), literally translated as "the Way of Gathering with Ki" is a Japanese self-defense with a strong philosophical slant, developed in the early 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba. Morihei Ueshiba, called O'Sensei (great master) by aikidokas, was inspired by the techniques of the Japanese samurai, martial arts and fighting sports such as jiujitsu and kenjutsu. Morihei Ueshiba also added a moral value to the art of aikido, which was derived from the then new Japanese religion Omoto-kyo.
