I hope Melvin does not sell his soul to the devil (money) and does not abandon kickboxing country.
If he wants to continue to be taken seriously by us he will make a great show of it but he will win!
I don't think many people in the Netherlands without competition experience want to step into the ring with Melvin. So respect for that. Those burglars just ran when they saw Melvin... says enough I think.
Changes we unfortunately do not stop, everyone is free to do what they want. There are plenty of people who may never watch martial arts otherwise who would feel like watching this pot.
Personally, I'm not a fan of having legends fight random celebs. Let celebs fight each other... is fine anyway. But for me as a fan and for many it's just too painful to see a respected fighter you know what he can normally do in the ring like that. So from me it doesn't have to be!
On the other hand, it could be a great opportunity to draw attention to the martial arts and introduce a larger audience to the sport. There are also fights left at the gala that might be significant with up-and-coming fighters. So positive things can come out of it as well. It is good that they are trying something to make martial arts accessible to a wider audience, though.
Watched a little bit but can't watch this , keep saying if this keeps up they will turn kickboxing into a circus sport just like WWE . Those haughty influencers who have trained a few times think they are Badr Hari . Melvin now carries K1 fighters with him if he loses it says enough and this is match fixing , Dave has never been in the ring you're not going to tell me he has a chance if Melvin fights seriously . If he loses Dave is going to think he can handle Badr hari , remy etc , joke maker . Challenge Remy? Put Some respect on his name Remy shouldn't even give that boy a stage with all due respect . Challenge Ricardo he might join this nonsense if it's allowed by Karim 😉 . But influencers should keep their mouths shut about K1 fighters , only respect they should show to them because those were real men then there would be no room for this nonsense from boxinginfluencers though I understand the concept of Melvin but it's going to hurt the martial arts world , but like to hear it should I be wrong
Melvin is 10 years younger than Tyson so I think this fight will look very different. Doesn't seem to me that Melvin would intentionally allow himself to be defeated at his own gala.
