One fc is making a better statement than Glory is doing right now.
They attract Sam Agdeve from SENSHI 8-man tournament winner. And they put him Immediately against Roman Kryklia for a title fight on Nov. 7.
They are doing something Glory will soon be doing for 1.5 years. Finding an opponent for Verhoeven. And they find that ready-made at SENSHI. A 21-year-old Turkishko fighter who is not coming to tap points but to actually storm the top.
Let's face it, if glory had announced agdeve vs verhoeven now no one would have taken it seriously.
Indeed, if vakitov vs Agdeve had been made I would have put my money on vakitov.
Nevertheless, agdeve is certainly a fun fighter.
It was more about the idea. Agdeve is also going to come up short against Kryklia. It's Roman's style in addition to years of experience and long winning streak.
Personally, I would have preferred to see him at Glory. He is a fighter you have to build up just like Fernandes t is the case. Great future young heavyweights. I think that move to One FC is way too early. They barely have any heavyweights under contract.
Agdeve is a nice fighter but totally not ready for such a title match. One destroys him. Real shame.
Brother Remy and Private Marinho, nice that Tavares came to tell his story it is a pity that certain things are only now being explained like the Russia thing with Vahkitov. Also that doping story has only recently been explained. It's a pity that Glory and the fighters hardly ever come out with statements or explanations. Other question do you think Jamal Ben Saddik should get a wildcard? He has already had 2 chances to qualify, same goes for a Mo Amine getting a reserve match based on.......???? No hate towards Mo Amine I begrudge him but, wouldn't a Cem Caceras or Irajpour be a more logical choice?
During Warriortalk 8 Tavares was at the table and he already told his story about doping, but then in more detail. The situation around his sponsors and Russia is new to me, but in itself it makes sense that you can't really come out about it to avoid losing your sponsors. Everyone in the Corona years in uncertainty and then talking "badly" about your sponsors is not useful.
Jamal does not deserve a wildcard. I would go for Caceres and Rico. Rico probably isn't going to want to so then I'd go for Fernandes. Guy won the previous reserve match and got nothing for it.
Azizpour had visa problems, I'm sure that's still in play
Caceres doesn't deserve a wildcard either. He was knocked out by Milos with a statement. Maybe for a backup match Caceres vs Fernandes.
Jamal needs to have his shins repaired. They never recovered in time this year.

This is the perfect opportunity for an Enfusion or WFL to pick up those guys and build desired competition for Glory. Gross of those guys come from those organizations anyway, so why not?
Those boys are also badly mistaken if they think they are going to make money with MMA. Even in the UFC guys fight for 5k show money 5k win money. In any sport you will have to be a topper if you want to make money.
Focus on becoming the best and the money will come to you. Remy also indicated before that he had a shitty contract at K1, but when he became champ could get his pay bump.
All Glory fighters get offers from other organizations. Logical right?

Doesn't really seem like news to me if an LFL once asked Jamal to come fight there. Fightsportsinfo acts like UFC is begging if Jamal wants to come. But dana has and 0 interest in a Jamal haha.
Glory and all other organizations had better make single party contracts. You see. A contract doesn't mean anything. If a fighter stops kickboxing he can also do karate combat, Mma or Muay Thai or boxing under other rules.
I completely understand guys leaving like Touchassie. Just look for nice challenges elsewhere. With a little good connections you can fight 5x a year. You have galas everywhere where people can pay those Glory amounts too.

I watch all your episodes, but I don't post often.
In November, Ouzgni was to fight Semeleer. Ouzgni had withdrawn for unknown reasons. Okay can happen, no further explanation. A week later, scheduled for a title fight against Baya. Interesting pot. Last Sunday I see Ouzgni pulled out again due to private circumstances. Too bad he cancels twice and gives no further explanation.
Do you guys know what is going on and what is your opinion? By the way, that one did not fight for a long time and so he is throwing away his fighting career.

Good episode this. Comparing Tavares to Amine last week this is a world of difference. Tavares just tells you how it is and how it went and doesn't hide behind stupid excuses. He is really aware of what he has to do to come back and how much he is worth to Glory now. Whereas last week Amine was mostly a big mouth with no substance.
I hope Tavares can get another nice win. With all those heavyweights running around Glory now, that should be easily achievable. I don't think he's ever going to take another title at Glory, I didn't think he was that good in his prime either, but it will be nice if he just fills up cards again against other subtoppers.
