This concludes our live blog of Glory 84. Thanks for reading!

Judging from the replay, Beztati won the fight with a very unexpected right kick to Petch's diaphragm. The Thai didn't see that coming and wasn't able to block it nor try to minimize damage by tightening his abdominal muscles.

Fourth round. Beztati has now won three rounds, though this time Petch got two of the five judges to say he won the last round. So Petch really has to score some knockdowns or even a knockout to secure victory. Out of the blue Beztati knocks down Petch with a left kick (to the liver?), from which the Thai can't recover. So very unexpectedly Beztati wins by technical knockout. It's not surprising that he wins, though it seemed for a while the fight would continue for the full five rounds.

Third round. Beztati also just won the second round and is still dominating. Both fighters have not changed their gameplan yet, though in Petch's case it doesn't seem to be working. Petch uses a lot of low kicks and kicks to the body with his left leg, which Beztati can either evade or block most of the time. Still, it must hurt and could make a difference later in the fight. Right now his superior length, weight and strength while fighting as a true professional helps him to stay out of trouble.

Second round. Beztati just won the previous round unanimously. Petch still looks relaxed and not too worried, there's four more rounds after all. Beztati is now pushing more, not necessarily attacking but closing the distance and apparently looking for a chance at a knockout. Petch tries to use his trademark left kick ocassionally, but Beztati can easily block them. So far Petch is not looking like he can easily rob the lightweight division's champion of his belt.

First round. The much smaller Petch already shows his trademark style while Beztati hits him with various strikes at different levels, all with very high impact. For the first time tonight we see a lot of clinching as well, most likely product of Petch' Muay Thai style. Petch seems in trouble but such a veteran naturally can't be discounted just yet. He effectively keeps interrupting Beztati's rhythm. Still, the Morrocan can use a lot of knees while holding on to Petch.

Petch is on a 10 fight winning streak since 2017 when he lost from Robin van Roosmalen, though Beztazi is on his own winning streak albeit not so long: 4 wins in a row since 2019.

It's now almost time for the main event: Beztati (Morroco), 23-4-0 (8 KO) vs Petch (Thailand), 169-38-3 (27 KO). This fight should be epic, as it's two celebrated champions pitted against each other. Beztati is the undisputed champion of the lightweight division. Petch is the insanely experienced "professor" who's the current champion of the featherweight division. For tonight Petch has put on some weight so he could fight a division higher against Tyjani, in an attempt to take a second title from Beztati while holding on to the one he (Petch) already has. We're in for a treat.

Second round. Khbabez is trying to steamroll over Toledo and hits him with a left hook that hit home. Toledo is now looking really tired at maybe the worst possible time. He's starting to look like a punching bag. To his credit he's still standing even though it's starting to look ridiculous how easily he gets hit in the head. The question becomes why Khbabez can't knock out Toledo. Maybe the Spaniard doesn't feel pain. In final 30 seconds Toledo actually falls out of the ring after Khbabez's shin hits Toledo in the face. Because of this, his coach decided to literally throw the towel in the ring. Khbabez wins.

First round. Khbabez is already swinging some dangerous looking hooks that Toledo can dodge or block. Not long after Khbabez is starting to really hit the Spaniard and keep the pressure on. The Morrocan has been calling for a fight against the division champion Abena, so now's the time to proof he's worthy of that. So far Toledo is staying out of trouble, though there wasn't much more he could do beyond some fancy dodges like a true matador.
