We are a Judo club for everyone. At Almere Maru you can practice judo at a recreational level but also if you want to compete. It remains that we continue to promote honesty but also sporting behavior. It is a club for children and adults with or without disabilities. We find it important that the children learn the techniques in a playful way and have fun in judo. With judo you take care of each other, you also practice judo with all children (big small or with a disability). You also learn social and motor skills here, judo is therefore an aid, in which we try to develop the social and motor skills. This will also allow you to experience personal growth.

Is Almere Maru your business?

This allows you to get more online visibility for your gym or events. In the spring of 2025 you will also get access to services developed specifically for martial arts trainers and clubs, which we offer in cooperation with the Dutch Institute for Martial Arts and Society (NIVM). Additionally, you will receive extra promotion through a commercial break in our talk show Warrior Talk, and have a chance to be selected as Gym of the Week, putting you in the spotlight for a week on our site, social media channels and in the podcast Op De Bank.
