The 12th of November in the city of Eindhoven will play host to an evening of muaythai action put together by Duran gym. The event which is sanctioned by the WMC and IFMA is split into two parts with full pro and amateur cards comprised of the best of the best fighters from the Netherlands. Headlining the event two top Dutch athletes will put it all on the line for a stab at the WMC Dutch title. The event will be held in honour of Tolga Elbren with all proceeds going to Tolga’s Topsport Olympic Muay Thai’ Foundation. Tolga Ebren was a top sportsman with heart and soul and sadly passed away at the age of 19 due to a brain tumor. Unfortunately, Tolga has not been able to make all his dreams come true, he would therefore like nothing more than for other young people to be able to realize their dreams. That is why the initiators of the foundation came up with the idea of establishing a top sports foundation in Tolga’s honour. Tolga’s Topsport Olympic Muay Thai Foundation aims to offer youthful and young Muaythai athletes prospects for the European Olympic Muaythai Championships (EC), the IFMA World Championships (WC) and in the future also to allow them to participate in the Olympic Games.
