Welcome to Akbaba Gym, the leading boxing school in Maastricht. We have been a pioneer in the Netherlands in the field of boxing therapy and individual coaching since 1996. At Akbaba Gym we strengthen our clients both mentally and physically. The boxing school is led by six-time boxing champion Ali Akbaba.

For us, aikido is a martial art or rather an art of living in development. We see aikido as part of evolution. The search for harmony and clarity in dealing with resistance and conflict. This also includes the development of courage and decisiveness where necessary. The form is the joint practice of aikido techniques, in addition to mindfulness meditation. Aikido as a path of life; a search for inner and outer peace, freedom and relaxation, authenticity.

We listen to you and work with your wishes. Personal attention is very important to us. We go further in this than other gyms.
