ONE Friday Fights 103 will bring with it a little bit of nostalgia and a whole lot of power on April 4. This week’s 12-bout installment at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, includes action across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA and features the returns of two former ONE Championship veteran strikers. In the main event, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai takes on fast-rising star Ferzan Cicek in a 147-pound Muay Thai bout. Kulabdam has scored seven wins in the ONE Friday Fights series. Now he wants to thrust himself back onto the promotion’s global roster with one more decisive victory. But Cicek, the Turkish standout from Team Mehdi Zatout, aims to use Kulabdam as a springboard to a US$100,000 contract and his own spot in ONE. Elsewhere on the card, Walter Goncalves returns to face the always exciting Xavier Gonzalez in a 128-pound Muay Thai clash. Plus, American star Kendu Irving takes on Avatar PK Saenchai in the featured bout of the evening. Before that, Japanese kickboxing ace Fuyuka makes her debut against China’s Tsz Ching Phoebe Lo.
