The driving force behind our gym is world champion kickboxer Fred Royers. Initially, the concept of "elite sports" came first. That had to be the case with nine A-class kickboxers walking around here. But of course, we also need our youth and "nachwuchs" (youth development) and we are developing ourselves in terms of breadth to other combat sports for different target groups. We invest a lot in this. And so we have broadened our perspective. "Broader" thinking, combat sports and at the same time working hard but injury-free in the gym. Making combat sports accessible to an even larger group!

The Boxing Academy is more than just a boxing school! With us, you get boxing lessons from real top performers, but you can also receive personal support to bring out the best in yourself! Both in a sporting and personal capacity. The Boxing Academy is affiliated with the Dutch Boxing Association and also has the certificate for "safe and responsible fighting sports."

The name Lawa's Gym comes from owner Matthieu Lawalata's last name. LAWA at the same time at our gym stands for Learn, Absorb, Work, Achieve. Learning together from and with each other (Learn), absorbing it into yourself so that it really becomes something of your own (Absorb), working with it and working hard (Work) and achieving your goals, whatever they may be, together (Achieve). With us you can join fitness but also group kickboxing classes of both punching bag and technique training. We are open 7 days a week. House of Champions is a fight academy for A and B fighters, with a longer term vision. We work together to build a career or further develop your career. We can be found on stages such as Glory and Enfusion. You will be professionally supported by our experienced trainers.

Boksschool Zutphen offers boxing training in group classes for everyone aged 13 and up. Boxing classes emphasize technique, tactics, strength, speed and agility. The lessons alternately focus on the following points: learning the boxing stance learning passive defenses (blocks, defenses, dives, steps and slips) Learning active defenses (after a passive defense, give a reaction punch or take over an attack) Technically correct execution of punch combinations (direct punches, corner punches, uppercuts and combinations thereof) learning game boxing (sparring with technical and tactical assignments; with the aim of improving your own and the other's boxing skills) Promoting strength endurance and general fitness (many forms of boxing bag training are covered, as well as circuit training, increasing hand speed and increasing your coordination and flexibility)
