You have to take out the 5-rounds. And to 3 rounds. Gages down, high KO bonus. A champion should beat opponents ko. Wisse is with all due respect 1 of the most boring fighters along with ze white brother Verhoeven. They are matches where you can actually just go pee (wisse vs bokeme, wisse vs braun). The same goes for Chico as well. You should be ashamed when you say at your speech that you are glad you dominated 5 rounds. It's not fun at all to watch those so-called championship matches.
Now you start talking about the angle. Shouldn't an organization like Glory just ban that nonsense. If you are not a trainer, physio, fitness trainer or other professional of a fighter. Then you basically have no business being there in the corner. We saw those misbehaviors with Hammouche whose 1 of his Dalton brothers wanted to attack the referee.
I also saw Mahiedine who suddenly became a water carrier? Shouldn't this guy just take Jurjendal's spot? He has the potential to go very far in the tournament. And automatically make more money with the games.
Way too long a discussion about Hamicha. Hamicha you will not see next year. A man of Glass. Fight once and recover for 10 months. A title fight isn't going to happen either when you turn so little. And yes that Mendes was still an amateur. Everyone knew that. He was flown in as cannon meat. Whats next for Hamicha? Long recovery. And give the King as many probs as possible again. Because the King pays the tickets for the fans(sarcastically). Instead of thanking your fans. You guys can close the Hamicha chapter for now.
Then let me name the elephant in the room: Rico looks very unnaturally heavy. He looks like a bodybuilder with the endurance of a cyclist.... seems too good to be true. I don't believe he's clean at all!
What I find strange is that fighters are allowed to use certain drugs that are on the WADA list by doctor's prescription. So maybe other fighters are currently using the exact same drug that Jamal used but have filled out their doctor's note correctly?
Seems a little crooked to me. There are doctors worldwide who are willing to prescribe anything and everything. Who knows all the things Rico is taking on the prescription of his doctor?
To anyone who criticizes Chiqo: be fair and measure with one standard. Wisse, Petch and Beztati are protected, while he is burned down.
And then we have Ricardo, the "king" of the boring game in which you do just a little more than the opponent.
Real champions? Those were Doumbé and Pereira. They talked a lot, but also showed it in the ring. Tarik and Semeleer? Those fight to win, not to rack up points. Semeleer lost, but he has my respect.
And that's why I think the welterweight division is the best in Glory. The title has never been defended there more than 3 times-pure competition. That makes it extra sour for Hamicha. After his last handsome KO victory, he was ranked #1 and could have challenged champion Doumbé. But he didn't ... Did he know about his injury back then? I don't know.
Meanwhile, the welterweight belt has been fought 7 times. And 7 times Hamicha's name has not been dropped.
And I repeat: 7 times fought for the title, 7 times no Hamicha.
That fight could have been one of the hottest matches in Glory: Doumbé, the big star who calls himself the best, against Hamicha, that "special talent.
Doumbé had 1 fight left on his contract, but did not want to continue at Glory. He was already pursuing MMA-even Dana White was reaching out to him. But because of his contract at Glory, that couldn't continue.
